Como símbolo del presente, una esfera captura la esencia del instante creando un puente entre el pasado y el futuro.Debajo reposa un bloque rectangular que simboliza el pasado y el peso de la historia.
En contraste, en lo alto, el futuro se despliega en infinitas posibilidades. La superficie pulida que abraza tanto al pasado como al futuro, refleja su importancia dentro de su entorno, fundiéndose en él; donde el constante paso del tiempo desaparece en sus reflejos temporales.
Con esta escultura, David invita a los espectadores a cuestionar el significado mismo del tiempo.
