This artwork, composed of four polished stainless steel panels and four spheres, draws inspiration from the ancient symbol of the ouroboros, a serpent eating its own tail, representing the cycle of life, death, and rebirth.
The reflective steel surfaces create an infinite loop of reflections, inviting viewers into a space where time seems to dissolve, looping endlessly like the ouroboros itself.
From any angle, the four spheres are always visible, creating a sense of timelessness and continuity. This piece challenges our perception of time, suggesting that it is an illusion, a construct within which we find ourselves perpetually mirrored back to our origins.
As we move around the installation, our reflections, like the ouroboros, are in a continuous cycle, evoking a dialogue on the nature of existence and the eternal flow of life.
