SIN NORTE

year.     2025

material.     stainless steel +musou paint on canvas

dimensions.     118w x 2d x 48h in

sin norte embodies the quiet tension between joy and sorrow, shadows of lived experiences, layered memories, and the fragmented reflections of a future now transformed.

rather than merely exploring these narratives, the work inhabits them, holding space for their weight and complexity.

composed in stainless steel, the surface offers imperfect reflections, inviting the viewer into a dialogue with their own sense of direction, or lack thereof.

installed within the lobby of the guild hotel, a space eloquently captured by lilah ramzi for vogue magazine, the piece finds resonance in an environment that bridges history, design, and contemporary culture.

thank you jfin collective , your encouragement made clear that completing this work was not only an act of creation, but one of healing.

an opportunity to close cycles and allow new ones to emerge.
